Canon Sure Shot Supreme
Here we have a very nice Canon Sure Shot Supreme point-and-shoot 35mm film camera. It is in excellent condition and is fully functional.
A 1986 model from Canon's phenomenally successful Sure Shot range, this compact 35mm film camera was voted European Camera of the Year for putting some very advanced features into an ergonomic package at a reasonable price.
This fully-automated camera is the quintessence of point-and-shoot cameras. Everything is automated, allowing the shooter to relax, and focus on the joy of shooting. Compose the shot, and fire away.
The lens is quite good, being a 4-element design with a fast aperture of F/2.8. This allows for exceptional low light performance that's rarely seen in a point-and-shoot camera.
The autofocus system allows for focus lock, while the auto-exposure is handled by a shutter capable of speeds from 1/8th of a second up to 1/500th. Film types accepted range from ISO 50-1600, which is effectively covers everything you could need. The automatic flash fires when necessary and can be disabled when desired.
The viewfinder is bright, large and informative, featuring warning indicators for low-light, too-close, and camera shake. Indicators inform of proper focus, and parallax correction marks allow close shooting with confidence.
Film advance and rewind are automatic, making loading and unloading effortless.
One minor annoyance with this camera is that Canon decided to make the battery compartment held in place with small phillips screw, so a mini-screwdriver is needed to replace the 2CR5 battery. This isn't a big deal, but it's not as easy to replace the battery than some other cameras.
The camera will be carefully packaged and shipped immediately.
